All that for an injury prone rental?

boston is dumb, they have a much younger team than LA, why wouldnt they then just wait to sign him instead of giving away so much?

All of this for a guy who doesn't want to play there long-term.

When are the Celtics going to realize they just aren't a prime destination for top NBA players?

If the Pelicans take that then they would be colluding and accepting a worse offer. Good to know.

If Kyrie re sign I can see them giving up Tatum for AD.

Got to remember that Davis+Kyrie is Ainge

Gordon Hayward and an unprotected future first. All-Star and a potential #1 pick. Great deal, maybe too much. But Demps is a great negotiator.

I'd like to keep Tatum if possible. Give em Brown and Rozier + filler and/or picks

I'll part with Brown AND Rozier if I'm going to roll the dice on Davis in the summer. Wouldn't deal Tatum for a rental.

If Davis and Kyrie both sign long-term, then I'll part with Tatum.

If they can get him WITHOUT giving up Tatum then they're golden. I'd rather give up Brown than Tatum

They don't have to offer as much as LAL did since Bostons young talent is MUCH better than LA's

Smart's a monster defensively. I suppose it would be worth it moving him to get AD though that'll be a big hit on their perimeter D, though I guess defense doesn't matter in todays game so who cares right?
