Thumbs down If Finals Record is what matters, who cares about the competition in earlier rounds??

We apparently give guys a pass when they flame out in round 1 or dont even make the playoffs. So who cares about the level of competition? “Only finals matters” according to LeHaters.

Lebron has played BY FAR the most formiddable finals competition of any player in the modern era. Two dynasties (Spurs and Warriors) plus a super hot-handed cinderella Mavs team and a squad of young HOFers in the Thunder.

    Nobody elses opponents come close.

Lebron has had THE hardest road by far.

    EARNED, not given.

    DEAL WITH IT.

Youre wasting your time reporting me. As soon as I made the post I realized it would trigger too many StanBes and set off a mass meltdown, so I self-reported the violation on my own. Im currently cooperating with Jeff’s investigation and will accept any punishment deemed applicable.

It depends, if you're good enough to make the Finals. If you're a Finals level team (which technically most of Lebron teams have not been, but they played in such a weak conference that it's a free trip.) If you're a championship level team, 60+ win team and you have a bad Finals record, losing year after year, then yeah that's bad. It means you can't step it up, can't figure out ways to win.

And if you're not a championship level team, 8th, 7th seeded team, then it's a completely different story, expectations. You're not expected to win, even if your best player goes into Godmode.

Comparing an 8th seeded team to a Finals level team is extreme black and white thinking.

Edti: I somehow thought you were talking about losing earlier as apposed to the Finals. But some of the points still fit, like the free trip to the Finals.

The level of competition matters also, because it's a lot of less wear and tear. A lot less effort being put forth, while the team in the tougher conference had to expend a lot more energy.

Jeff Jornacek was 2nd option on the Jazz. He averaged 10 PPG. Klay Thompson drops 60 in 3 quarters

From the dude that stans the guy who started the super team era and is currently colluding to trade literally his entire team to get another superstar.

At least I'm honest about what the Warriors have done. You're just delusional and a hypocrite.
