Default A sidekick's opinion (Pippen) shouldn't matter more than FMVPs (Oscar, Zeke, KAJ)

And no one should actually take Pippen seriously. One minute he's saying: "LeBron is the greatest all around basketball of all time" the next minute: "He is looking to actually compare LeBron to MJ". Then the next hour: "LeBron doesn't have the clutch gene".

He shouldn't be taken seriously. Considering the fact: "Takeover mode" LeBron has been seen before.

LeBron hitting clutch shots, regular season and playoffs, we've seen it. Scored 50 points in the NBA final, something Kobe never did.

Never lost in the first round.

Fvck Pippen for flip floppin b!tch ass niqqa.

Does Lebron have the clutch gene? Is what he said not true?

    Are you in a wheelchair?

"Clutch gene" doesn't mean "Killer Instinct" I hope you are not mistaking.

Killer Instinct doesn't mean you are making shots. It just means you want to kill the competition by any means necessary. You can have it in your heart and show emotion and all of that. But you still have to make the shots. And this is where we at.

Stats shows LeBron have been more clutch than both Kobe and MJ in the playoffs.

No former (or current) player's opinion on an athlete's overall value should be taken seriously. None. They are all emotionally charged, reactionary fools looking to make the next headline. Much of what they all believe pretty much entirely boils down to how they "feel". This is why their opinions change every few weeks. An educated fan is simply far more knowledgeable about a player's history, ability and production than any of them will ever be.

The only ex NBA players currently on TV who I feel like have a clue about what they are talking about is Billups and Brent Barry. The rest are worthless.

And that's something that Lebron has not very consistent at. This is where the eye test trumps a triple double. Where you watch certain games, like Game 6 against Indiana last year, where Lebron put up great stats, but visibly he quit and thus had to go to a game 7. Performed great in the game 7, but many times gets scared and quits like in Game 6, while the teammates get the blame. Meanwhile you have Jordan refusing to quit with the flu, and that to me is a major difference. The naive fans, just look at the stats and say he had an amazing game. Jordan wants to win at all cost, and that's what makes him clutch. He's not going to be missing clutch free throws and the like because his mind is not going to be clutter with worry about missing.

What really matters with Pippen is that his opinion is as consistent as the weather. He has a new schtik every damn week.

According to our Bran logic Pippen was the real 6x FMVP, therefore Pippen's opinion >>>>

Exactly. This dude proclaimed LeBron as the GOAT, then the 2011 Finals happened so take that for what it's worth

Pip SURE AS HELL was NEVER an alpha dog scorer. Or known for his killer instinct scoring the rock! I HOPE he's aware of that shit! Six rings and was NEVER REGARDED as the GOAT SF!!! AT LEAST DOUBLE the rings more than guys like Bron, Bird, KD, and Doc. If u gave Bron or Bird six rings, they would have a case as the GOAT flat out. Among ALL POSITIONS!

The MAIN REASON why Pip was never on that level IS BECAUSE EVERBODY knew he wasn't an alpha dog scorer. Or somebody with the killer instinct of clutch gene. Some teams had the luxury of having more than one alpha dog scorer on their teams. The best scorer MJ ever played with was arguably Orlando Woolridge!!! LMAO

For starters, being an alpha dog scorer REQUIRES a certain mentality to dominate scoring. BUT from there u do have guys who have certain clutch and killer instinct traits that take them to another level. Bron DOES have killer instinct and clutch shit.

IT's just not the same mentality like a MJ, Kobe, or a Bird. Bron is pass first for starters. And his scoring skillset isn't as good as those guys. BUT Bron proved as a youngin vs. the Pistons scoring 25 straight points THAT he has killer instinct. Just because he's not a MJ, Bird, or Kobe in that regard DOESN'T mean he doesn't have the clutch and killer instinct shit.

If I follow your chain of logic right, Pippen should not be taken seriously because he was just a 2nd option to 6 rings but you, k0kaw0rld, we should take seriously because.........

    Help me, please.

Pippen is not someone to listen to regarding basketball but you are someone to listen to as to who is someone to listen to... why eaxctly?

ISHiots on a message board running around saying we should listen to them instead of Scottie 6-time champ Pippen
