Re: Has anyone actually felt alive since 2012?
We've been living in a simulation since the birth of our known universe.
Nothing changed in 2012.

If you think we're living in a simulation, then you're an idiot too.

It is what it is
Re: Has anyone actually felt alive since 2012?
We probably are living in a different universe...a universe where an idiot recording his mindless rant gets almost 3 million views

Can you prove that we're not to be able to make such a claim?
Sure, you can make the argument that you can't prove a negative, but this is the great mystery of life, no? The origins and cause of the known universe... lol.
It's a question that is literally unknowable without a direct intervention from a an all powerful being explaining why things are the way they are.
Do you not agree with the argument that if you assume any rate of electronic computer progression at all, however slow or however fast, that eventually computers will be able to simulate a reality indistinguishable from what we know as "reality" and as such, would it not then be reasonable to assume we're probably already living in one? Suck a peen, dawg.

Re: Has anyone actually felt alive since 2012?
The thing I dont understand about humans is why do we think we matter on any significant level?
We're trillions of bacteria with preset behaviors on some minuscule spinning rock. If this is a simulation, why on earth would anyone think we're the main reason for the simulation?
So some dvanced alien species decided to simulate a bunch of empty space and spinning rocks with bacteria on some of them?

Or advanced humans themselves are simulating our reality?
We really don

This. i get the logic, but dont see the motive. Why would AI want to play a simulation of us? Just seems like a looney tech fueled form of nihilism. There's no reasoning behind why it would be, what are 'they' getting out of it?
