How is it that Kobe with Shaq get 3 rings, but Lebron with Shaq (3 finals mvp's, league mvp) lost in round 2 lost with HCA?

Joining Wade is a top 10 player all time and a guy in his own draft class who won a title before him and that has as many titles as him.
