Lakers during the whole 80's decade placed mostly #1 on team assists, and just a couple times outside the Top 3 (4th both times)
Utah, from 1990 to 1998, placed consistently in the Top 4 on team assists.
Teams under Lebron-ball's dictatorship have consistently been outside the Top 10 on team assists.

One would think that Lebron led teams would also be top 4 because of his stats, and comparisons to Magic. Even being called the best passer in the league by many. But we all know that Lebron ball lets Lebron pad stats at the expense of the team.
Jordan averaged less assists than Lebron, but I bet his style of play led to more team assists.

Unfortuntely most basketball "fans" are simply just box score watchers who can only explain the "whats" and never the "whys"
Oh his teammates aren't making their shots! Or maybe, just maybe, the team isn't moving the ball enough and aren't finding the most optimal shot to take
