I've always wondered how the calculate "strength of schedule."

Do they rank each opponent just based on last year's win/loss record or do they rank each opponent based on this year's projected win/loss record? Or is it just simply in real time, so for example in the beginning of the year the Clippers would have been "tough" with their great record and now they are "weak?"

I always wondered this shit

Do they consider how the actual teams match up "Like Bron has never beaten Utah in 10 years so they are way tougher" etc.
