I've always said everybody lost with KD's move. Literally nobody got a boost from it despite doing nothing but win.

The following year they were again clearly the best team in the NBA, and would have won the Finals if not for their own injuries and Green's suspension. There's no compelling reason to believe that without Durant a 73 win team couldn't win the Finals the following year.

I know that most sports fans are obsessed with drama, and inflate the significance of a short series, where the role of chance is greatly increased, far beyond what it really means, but the fact is that Warriors had two of the greatest seasons in history in 2014-15 and 2015-2016, without Durant.
This is your speculation. In 2015 they were clearly the best regular season team. Playoffs are a different animal. They weren't clearly better then Cleveland at all in the playoffs. If love and Kyrie were there it was pretty clear that Cleveland would of won. 2016 is a huge denial year for curry and warrior fans. Curry was obviously healthy. I've had the same injury. It's a pretty fast and easy recover and you definitely can't be doing 360 dunks If it's not healed. Steph just played bad like he usually does in the finals, it had nothing to do with the injury.

The warriors we're never as good as there fans believed they were. The front office new this and that's why they went and got kd. If not for kd the warriors would still be sitting on one chip and there's no way curry gets to top 10. Either way he won't but at least with kd he'll get more chips.
