Mines a more accurate list
You can't put Giannis at 1 yet... hasn't proven to be that guy.. hasn't even gotten close to proving it
I'll second this list, the only change I'd make is swapping Giannis and Harden. Giannis is still unproven in the playoffs but I think this is his year.
No way is Curry top 5.

I have to agree

Do you think Toronto would trade Kawhi for Curry?
Do you think Golden State would trade Curry for Kawhi?

That's a fair point but that goes beyond what we are talking about. That can translate to being more marketable.
Also now you are talking about team fit, which isn't part of your initial question.
Also, never knew the OP was a big LeBron fan so that's pretty cool

Gobert too low. He's a top 5-10 player.

He's not good enough offensively to be top 10

His D is as impactful as anyone else on offense.
Only a handful of guys have his impact.
Okay damn that is pretty legitimate. But still he is really lacking on the offensive side.

I just think Curry elevates your offense so much that there are only a few guys (the ones who are elite on both ends) that I can take over him.
I think it's more about that than it is about fit or marketability. Remember that the Warriors won 73 games with Steph as the clear top guy. He's brings the potential for being an elite team if you have him, even without another Superstar in the mix.
I'm not a huge LeBron fan, I love watching him and I think he's one of the four greatest players ever, but he bugs me with how he acts off the court and behind the scenes.

That's a good case for him. I don't dive real deep into the numbers on everyone until after the regular season, I could see him moving up for sure based on that case.
I disagree with the impact of his defense though, in this NBA offense is more valuable, even though center is the most important defensive position and one of the least important offensive positions.
I had him #12 in 2017 and #13 in 2018, would you consider those fair rankings?

No he's just really efficient because all of his points come from dunks
He's a awful free throw shooter and can't create his own offense like a Jokic or an Embiid
