just saw The Last Jedi for the first time since seein Rise of Skywalker and I like it more now. It's not a bad movie...might be better than the Abrams movies.

watched Honey Boy (amazon prime) and would recommend. It's basically a (fictional)re-telling of shia lebeouf's career

shia plays his dad in it and kills it. as do the 2 actors who play a young shia and early adult version of him.

I've watched a crap load the last 4 days since taking PTO.

    The Rise of Skywalker (6/10)

Felt rushed. It was okay. You can tell it was rushed and just tried to fixed many mistakes made in The Last Jedi. Leia's parts to me felt misplaced, Luke felt like he should've been alive and not killed off in the previous movie. I felt they could've done the final confrontation differently with Palpatine. Ben kissing Rey didn't feel right. They should've just had them hugging or forehead to forehead or something.

    1917 (8/10)

I like the story. And I love the trickery they did with making the movie feel like one big long shot. It was immersive. Him and his buddy went through hell to get the orders to Cumberbatch.

    Joker (8/10)

I was a little slow for my tastes, but Phoenix does an awesome job. I love it as an origins story. Also I didn't mind the way the twisted in Bruce's story slightly too.

I feel the exact opposite about ReyLo. They should have done the nasty.

watched that too. Wasn't awful, but I didn't hate watching it. One of those random Tuesday night movies that you won't turn off right away.

    Finally saw Knives Out

    8/10

Very good movie, I think it got over hyped for me a little though, I was expecting something completely out of left field, like they were all trapped in one of his mystery novels or something. But nope it's just a well put together murder mystery. Nothing too ground breaking.
