when i first saw that movie it made me see girls in a different light. summer is still a bitch tho, but that's mostly bc zoey comes off as a dumb hipster bitch in every role she appears in.

Palm Springs, with Andy Samberg, on HULU. Was 8/10. Creative, cool, interested from start to finish.

Tax Collector was terrible but Shia actually pulled off a pretty good Mexican.
Not a bad acting performance I must say... funny at times watching a white boy act like a Mexican, but still a good performance.

Peppermint on Netflix, action movie, Jennifer Garner.
Watched it just as background noise, and it wasn't even that, no rating needed, it isn't worth watching.

Ava, on Netflix. Another nonsense assassins/action movie I shouldn't have watched. Won't rate, just a waste of time. Don't watch.
Will now go back to watching good movies.

Re: Rate the last Movie you watched
Movie was surprisingly pretty good.
Not a masterpiece or anything like that... but worth a watch.
Plot: Tampa Bay get destroyed. People try to survive. Not much of a story, just entertaining drama.

somethings in the movie were a little weird, but overall the film is a good piece of art and worth watching.
I loved this film. Funniest movie to come out of hollywood in years imo, especially towards the end when things really start going off the rails
Given the premise of the movie, it would have been really easy to make it into an unfunny and preachy piece of woke propaganda... but rather than the usual hollywood formula of ham-handedly pushing identity politics while tip-toeing around anything controversial (or funny), the film mainly focuses on mocking corporate America while never taking itself too seriously.
