Cloud Atlas is an excellent movie if one has the patience for it. One of those disturbing yet very intriguing as it progresses kind of movies. Excellent soundtrack and acting. 7/10 but I need to watch it again.

Never finished the book so not sure how it really compares to it.

Serious Ninja business in this show. Way better than what I was expecting from Netflix.

Good to see they added Daredevil to the MCU in No Way Home.

The Matrix Resurrections

4/10

It was so bad to me, that i don't even consider it canon or part of the story. And while each sequel to the original Matrix film did progressively get worse and worse, it's not like Reloaded and Revolutions was ass garbage either. They were decent films still.

So Resurrections for me is very similar to everything after Terminator 2. I ignore all those movies because they were so bad. T3, Dark Fate, Genisys, etc.

western type movie after the civil war a detective searches out war criminals.
A couple good shoot outs and a love affair.

Nightmare Alley(2021)

Nightmare Alley is Guillermo Del Toro's follow up to his Oscar winning The Shape of Water. It's a remake of a 1947 version of the same story. Basically it's a two part film, part one is the carnival part and part 2 is the city one. Both are different shades of noir and they are both great. This is really an ensemble piece where all the supporting performances are great. Visually it's amazing and lush and worth seeing on the big screen. This is the best performance of Bradley Coopers career but he doesn't dominate the movie like Tyrone Power did in the original.

Stowaway

Sci- fi about a ship journeying to Mars
But a stowaway is found injured , burns up co2 and rest you can figure.
Kind of a C movie in a B movie skin.

Nothing about this movie makes sense, it almost seems like the protagonist is a homeless Portlander and the entire plot is just a schizophrenic hallucination or something... but I loved every minute of it.

A lot of the scenes have a kind of cohen brothers vibe to them... its the perfect type of film to watch if you happen to be tripping on acid or mushrooms.

Sci -Fi : First Signal

This was from the beginning a weird type movie depicted as a 80's movie in a modern era way of life.
That threw me for a loop , and all most turned it off.
I let it run out and as suspected the signal was a bomba- rang to who watched it ,, guys in the meeting were aliens.

Movie - 5 at best
Laugher - I fell asleep half way thru it, and had to rewind.... all sci-fi's some how grab my attention.
