Actually, since his initial Twitter comments, he has repeatedly said that if they don't like the US, they should leave; he has dropped all pretense about going elsewhere to implement their ideas, etc... He also said they should "go back" to the countries where they came from to improve those countries even though three of the women were born in the US, and the ancestors of at least one of the women have been in the US longer than Trump's family. Telling American born citizens to "go back" to a non-existent country is, in effect, telling them to get out of the US... pretense or not.

He has basically said that the four Congresswomen who have criticized him and the US Government should leave the country because they hate the US. This, after he heavily criticized the former President and the US Government during that President's tenure.

Let's not forget, they have been criticizing him and government of late over the atrocious handling of migrants, and especially child migrants, at the border. It is criticism of his handling of matters at the border that spurred his attacks on the four Congresswomen.

Migrants have been detained at facilities like these for several, several years going back as far as the late 70's and early 80's. This isn't a new thing. What is a new thing is the amount of migrants coming in now and the fact that these facilities cannot house all of them without having them all look like sardines in a can.

This is manufactured outrage. When someone crosses the border illegally and is detained, where are we supposed to put them? A hotel?

The outrage by these 4 dimwits needs to be directed inwardly and at the very Congressmen they rub shoulders with. These people were elected to uphold the law, and they are refusing to do so. The fact that migrants have been detained at facilities like these in the past does not mean that we should ignore or dismiss the conditions now. Many of the migrants, especially children, have little access to sanitary and hygiene items such as soap and toothbrushes, little room to lay down to sleep and often no beds or padding to lay down on. These aren't specious claims. The DHS Office of Inspector General just released a report:

That tracks with other accounts we've heard and what we've seen in pictures and on video. It also tracks with what we have heard in courtrooms where a lawyer for the administration recently confirmed the conditions in front of a panel of three judges who were, themselves, incredulous.

As I’m sure you know, things often take years in the court system. This lawyer was actually arguing a case that the Trump administration inherited from previous administrations.

You’ll notice it’s listed as “Flores v Barr” right? Well, the “Flores” in this case is actually from 1985. The current “Flores agreement” “law” is from 1997. Clearly, well before Trump was president. This specific lawyer, Sarah Fabian, has been on this since the Obama administration. The idea that she’s some Trump person is not reality. She also handled these Flores cases under Loretta Lynch. She’s a lawyer. She’s simply answering a question about what the Flores agreement does and doesn’t legally require.

She’s not out there saying “f*ck these kids, we’re not giving them soap.”
