So basically, as soon as he steps inside the halfcourt, you're already dead.
No player has ever been as threatening on offense as Curry was that regular season.
I'd like to honor Curry's greatness that season, too, but to be frank it wasn't the GOAT offensive season if you ask me. 99-00 Shaq had an automatic field goal if he was able to muster the ball above his shoulders (which he was usually able to do). Of course that's probably not it either, since he could just be sent to the free throw line, but the point is he had usually made the two-foot, two-point field goal immediately prior. What of any MJ season 1987-88 to 1990-91, or Wilt's 1961-62?
As for defending Curry, the Bulls could double him with Jordan and Pippen. I can't think of any other team that could defend that.

Ultimately, lesser versions of Curry and Dray gifted Lebron a talent advantage, which offset his lesser teamwork.. And Kyrie's legendary shot was the nail in the coffin
Nice using currys 19 stats when u could have the season before or after where he was only 26 pts on lower fg% than his regular season. Oh and his defence was still shit too. No surprise curry couldn't beat LeBron with a full roster until they went and got the second best player in the world.

Does it matter if LeBron's team beat the 70 win team?

None of those seasons are better offensively.
Curry shooting a three in 2016 > Shaq attempting a layup or dunk. Even when Shaq dunks it's still only two points. Curry can make up points quicker by just bombing threes.
And that's not even factoring in the fact that he can handle the ball and is a good playmaker. Shaq can't set up his teammates as well as he does.
