I would pressure him to change his name. Nino Brown... is not a gay man's name. He would have to be named something like Fabian, Larry, or Otis. If he does that, I may bring myself to accept him. There will be a great deal of disapointment because I will feel as if I have failed him.

It wouldn't bother me in the slighest. What a son or daughter of mine would want to do with their life is completely up to them. I would be there for comfort and support in whatever they do.
