Kobe pretty easily.
LeBron doesn't play a winning style.
Old Duncan, dirk and curry handed him his ass in the playoffs imagine Kobe.

He's not playing them 1 on 1 though. Curry was on a better team in 2017 and 2018.
If you want to criticize him, Miami should have beaten the old spurs and definitely shouldn't have beaten Dallas. Lebron also choked away game games 4-6 against the warriors in 2015. But I wouldn't hold 2017 and 2018 against him.

Yes Duncan was better in 07 for most of the season. I was talking specifically about the finals where Duncan was still really good but Tony was insane that finals.

Almost impossible for Kobe to win a poll because he's so hated here and many other places. Zero objectivity.
Shocking he's leading right now with all the haters.

Kobe had more skill but LeBron is more effective overall due to athleticism and court awareness.

Re: Kobe vs Lebron - Who is considered better?
LeBron's body plus Kobe's mentality is the GOAT...
As of now I have them ranked just like Manny98, Kobe at 10 and Bran at 11.

MVPs? LeBron
FMVPs? LeBron
1st Team All NBA? LeBron
Points/Rebounds/Assists/Steals/Blocks per game? LeBron
Playoff Points/Rebounds/Assists/Steals/Blocks per game? LeBron
TS%? LeBron.
Playoff TS%? LeBron
Playoff Buzzer Beaters, winners with 5, 24 seconds left? LeBron
Head to head? LeBron 16-6
Virtually every statistical measure points to LeBron usually by a comfortable margin, but young Kobe had prime Shaq while young LeBron had Ilgauskas so Kobe is better because he picked up those sidekick rings.

Re: Kobe vs Lebron - Who is considered better?
LA has the most fans in the world, including the billions in the Asian market. Popularity for Kobe and the Lakers will always distort opinion on message boards, etc.
I can see a time where people will believe Kobe was better than Jordan off pure psychological dissonance. Of course, they would be wrong.

I hate how every thread derails to become about Duncan

Re: Kobe vs Lebron - Who is considered better?
Kobe has been better defender, better scorer and has won more rings in the same franchise

Honest question, why? Chances are LeBron is going to leave your team after a short period of time, so why would you pick him?
