In Imax like all nolan films cus that's how he shoots them

It is kind of boring if you use his other films as a benchmark, kind of a slow quiet pace that builds. But if you're a WW2 nut you might really like it because it nails the immersion of being in 3 different charachters shoes who fought in WW2. Land, Air, Sea.

But it's not a fiction, the Dunkirk event happened. Allies final retreat from Europe before a slaughter

Also I wouldn't put much weight on Nolans trailers, if you watch any of his past films they resembled nothing to the pre release trailers leading up.

idk, take a look at the couple Inception trailers before it dropped. Really similar to TENET, "another action thriller"

I didn't really like Dunkirk at all. Watch Pather Panchali instead. Nolan just doesn't do it for me.

This looks terrible. He's a great director but this might end up being his worst films just based on this trailer. I hope I'm wrong.

The evacuation at Dunkirk was a real event. The greatness of that film is capturing what the old fighter jets could do. I went in expecting too much and enjoyed it a lot more once I read about what happened.

mine personally

you know everytime you go see a Nolan flick every 3-4 years it's not going to be a watered down money grab like the saturated reboot/sequel market were in.

which was represented by even how his Batman series was treated

can you imagine Nolan doing a X-men? or Terminator?
