Unless its skill based, as in who had the MOST game....

Kobe doesn't belong in the Top 5 imo. 8-10 is fair though.

Now its rare for Magic to be ranked over Lebron. I don't agree or disagree. To each their own. But rare nonetheless.

Mike and KAJ are 1 and 2 for me also.

Yeah, what a travesty. A player who has more rings and a superior Finals record is not supposed to be ranked ahead of those guys .

Shaq without Kobe - swept in the Finals, 1 role player ring, 0 MVPs
Kobe without Shaq - 3 straight Finals, 2 FMVPs, 1 MVP
Wilt's 2/6 in the Finals and played well below his RS numbers for his Playoffs career.

Anyways, Jalen's list is pretty messed up. Duncan not even top 10 all-time? Lebron ahead of Shaq, Bird and Kobe?

A more accurate list would be

    1. MJ
    2 & 3 Kareem/Kobe
    4. Magic
    5. Duncan
    6. Russell
    7. Shaq
    8. Bird
    9. Wilt
    10. Hakeem/Curry/Lebron or KD

The top 9 all deserve to be in the top 10, the 10th guy is a hard one because you can make a case for all 4 listed at that spot.

So it's cool if Kareem and Magic played together their whole carreer almost and always comfortable in the top 5 lists.. While kobe is actually considered to be the greatest laker ever.

Imagine if he didn't win those 2 rings with ****ing pau.

You've got to laugh at this. A guy with 1 career MVP and no title as undisputed lead dog ahead of Duncan and Shaq.

When he was carried by Pau? We are talking about the 2009 and 2010 finals when he shot 29% and 30% from the field in 4th quarters,r espectively?

Yeah that doesn't count for much. On the other hand, what stands out here is how relatively low he has Lebron.

So Kobe averaging 30 ppg in his two title runs without Shaq wasn't him being a lead dog? Doesn't Shaq also have 1 career MVP and 0 without playing alongside Kobe? Shaq's 4th ring is worse than any of Kobe's as well and he got swept in his first Finals as well. Shaq got swept like 3 or 4 times before Kobe came along and started bailing him out in big games.

Kobe's 4-1 against Duncan from 00-08 Playoffs, of course he's ahead of him. People who watched the games know that Kobe used to abuse the Spurs' supposed elite defense.

Kobe couldn't win more MVPs because he had scrubs around him during his peak, where he could have easily won 2-3 more had he had a good enough roster to be a top seed, instead his 2nd best player was Odom and you couldn't even name the 3rd guy, it might have been one of the biggest draft busts of all time in Kwame Brown.

That stat is so flawed because most of those shots were 3s, you're not accounting for the 3s Kobe took vs. Pau taking 2-3 shots a game in the 4th that came off Kobe's playmaking to give him wide open looks at the rim, not to mention that Kobe averaged 10-14 more points than Pau in those series. Gasol had ZERO 30+ pt games past the 2nd round of the Playoffs in his whole time with the Lakers. Your only argument is FG% and you're comparing a big man who shoots all his shots within 10 ft to Kobe taking 5-7 threes per game.

Orcourse not. Kobe shooting 40% from the field on single coverage while Shaq gets tripled teams tells you how awful he was.

The chasm between Shaq ans Kobe was bigger than any other for a top star and his sidekick.

Kobe couldnt win more mvps because he wasnt good enough to lead his teams to better records when he didnt have the most dominant backcourt in basketball.

Except Kobe saw more double teams than Shaq in 2 out of the 3 title runs and the rules back then were harder on the perimeter players than bigs because you could actually touch them without fouling.

Kobe oculdn't win more MVPs because his 3rd and 4th best players were Kwame Brown and Smush Parker.

To this day the irrational level of hate and clown like delusion, only when it comes to Kobe.

Also, any list that has Magic over Bird, is typically someone racist. There should at worst be no separation there. And in actuality, Larry was probably better.
