Remember when Pop's defensive strategy had his Spurs giving LeBron space and daring him to shoot during a Finals series...and it worked? At no point in MJ's career, even in his first years in the league, was that ever a thing with MJ.

You on about the 2014 Finals where he shot 52% from 3 that series? So no it didn't work

The only time MJ could dream of shooting 3s like LeBron is with a shortened 3 point line

They lost but it had nothing to do with baiting LeBron to take 3s since he shot over 50% for the series

Making him shoot meant he wasn't playing his usual game, which led to them losing. Is it that hard to understand?

So he couldn't elevate 2 elite players who were weaker than anyone Kawhi had at that point?
We know! That's another reason Kawhi is better.

But he was playing his usual game he averaged 28/8/4 for the series off 57% from the field LeBron had literally the most efficient series of his career so this idea that the Spurs shut down LeBron or forced him into playing outside his usual game is false

Don't care about that, just saying your "didn't work" line is wrong.
