I can't stand Westbrick, but I'd take him 10/10 times over current Derrick Rose.

OP probably thinks Rose was better than Westbrook in 2017.

OP's idol hasn't been relevant in 8 years, so the only "joy" he can get out of the game is to hate and hope for certain players to fail.

    What. A. Life.

Even at his best Derrick Rose was nothing special. There's a reason he's regularly talked about as the weakest MVP of all time. The bulls won so many games because they were, by far, the best defensive team in the league...which Rose had little to nothing to do with as he had basically neutral impact in that regard. Frankly, Dwight should have been the MVP in 2011. Like him or not he actually carried that team to those 52 wins. Rose wasn't even a top 5 player in the league in 2011 when they gave him that MVP. LeBron, Wade, Kobe, Dirk, Dwight were all better.

Must feel so sad that the statpadding losers you stan will never be as respected and admired around the league as Rose.

Ask players around the league who’s better Rose or Westbrook, OP. You wouldn’t like the answers.

Meanwhile Rose couldn’t make the playoffs on a super team.

Rose is respected for coming back from his injuries and being a top professional. Westbrook is respected for his numbers, which come from padding free rebounds.

Nothing says professional like randomly abandoning your team and not letting any of your teammates or coaches know where you are.

Nothing says professional like refusing to play when you’re healthy and your team needs you.
