the best thing about trump is how anti-war he is.
He's the first president to actually say the shit everyone knows was true in hindsight... all the terrorist bullshit that blew our deficit up like a balloon and will end up being the foundation for why we keep having recessions.
Trump talks a big game sometimes but everyone knows its just talk... he doesnt like actually taking action because hes been talking and bluffing people down his entire life.
****ing jeb was talking about furthering our middle east exploits for christs sake most of these politicians are puppets for the military industrial complex.

Trump is “anti-war” but he’s increased drone strikes a lot (https://chicago.suntimes.com/platfor...bama-s-numbers) and vetoed ending the war in Yemen (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/16/u...yemen.amp.html)

Trump isn't anti-war. The American people are weary of war and so he has capitalized on that zeitgeist. If he thought a war would boost his standing and benefit him politically, he would find a war to engage in. He repeatedly said that we shouldn't bomb or engage in Syria, and then he bombed Syria. He has repeatedly said we need to get out of the Middle East, but he just sent thousands of troops to Saudi Arabia. Trump was initially supportive, then was tepid, then equivocated about the Iraq War, but to hear him tell it, he was firmly against the war all along.
Here's the thing about bluffing. If everyone knows someone is bluffing - that they are all talk - their bluffing won't be effective because they're playbook has already been laid bare for everyone to see.
And the truth of the matter is that he didn't bluff people down his entire life. What he often did, for example, was refuse to pay companies and contractors for the work they did for his company, and when they sought payment and threatened to sue, he counter-sued in order to create a protracted legal battle, knowing that they wouldn't be able to last and would have to settle for pennies on the dollar. That's not going to work in government.

Yeah right, dude. Obama was hated by many Americans. Didn't his approval rating dip towards the end of his terms? Or am I mistaken? It just obviously wasn't covered as much because of who supported Obama
Anyways, I remember a bunch of dumb rednecks posting on FB that they truly believed he was the actual Antichrist. Lmao

Essentially this. The man has made a career out of negative press. Not sure why his supporters insist on being aloof about that.

Because Obama was "cool" and any negative comment you made about him made you a racist, even if you called him out for him signing a EO that promoted racial discrimination or him turning Genocide into a political tool.

Do you genuinely believe the difference is not related to behavior?
Unless it turns out random celebrities start winning in the future we will never in our lives have anyone in his position who acts like this again. You just gonna act like you don

Black white Republican or Democrat whoever comes after Trump is not going to be as polarizing.
[COLOR="Red"]We would have to elect Cardi B to equal the madness....

No normal person in politics is ever gonna be this hated.

Re: Why didn't Obama face the historical hate that Trump receives?
Cardi was apparently a very good student according to her teachers who spoke up when someone was calling her an idiot. Not that thats the point.
It would take something along those lines to be equally outrageous from the other side. Who is gonna act like Trump?
If you elected Jay Z he would behave much more reasonably. You gotta go down the ladder quite a bit to find someone who would be so willing to act an ass in that position.
Few if any posters on ISH would act like that if they actually had the chance to govern.
Who would it take? Really. Who acts the way Trump behaved BEFORE politics? Hes been this way forever. Hes just...this way in the white house. Who is the equivalent likely democrat?
Billionaire entertainer covered in scandal with no real qualifications who would probably show his ass given such power.
Puffy?
I feel like he might hold back a bit more than Trump.
Kanye would be Trump like or worse.....
Not sure who hits the sweet spot.
