The Hornets have converted the contract of forward Jalen McDaniels to a two-way contract.

The Hornets drafted McDaniels 52nd overall in 2019. He's a 6-foot-10 forward who played college ball at San Diego State.

The team originally signed him earlier this month. He was probably on his way out, but now the team has decided he's worth keeping around, as a two-way player. Which means he'll mostly play in the G League this season.
