If Green is your second best player it's a problem.

He was one of my top choices for a third banana type with his defensive abilities and playmaking for his position, but his defense may have dropped enough to where he's not an ideal third either.

Yep this. He is a great 3rd-4th option. That meant he would always be open and teams will force him to beat them... and he often did. Now that he is #2, he has more attention on him and he has to do more. Before he could concentrate on his defense and running those breaks with 3 shooters surrounding him.

Plus he's getting older and has mileage on him.

Dray from 2015-18, and even in some spots last year like the WCF was legit. Now the dude's defense is not what it was and his shooting has regressed badly

He's only overrated because casual fans don't pay attention to defense. For like 4 years now, he has been the best defensive player in the playoffs. They don't know what kind of weight that carries...to be the #1 defender in the entire league. How important that is.

There is no way the Warriors win 3 championships without him. They became a "dynasty" in 2014 when he was put into the starting lineup.

He's rated just fine. Like others have said, he can't be your 1st or 2nd option as those guys usually have to score. But as a 3rd wheel, he's about as good as it gets. He was hitting the 3 pretty well a few years back but has completely lost confidence in his shot the last few years and always passes up open 3s, which hurts the O.

But he still brings so much to the table.

Dray is a glue guy who excels as defensive anchor. He's extremely valuable under the right circumstances. Nobody expected him to take over a game like a Superstar.
