Book giveaway: Taking suggestions on best way to do it

Next week we're going to give away a copy of the new Lamar Odom book, about partying, Hollywood, the Lakers, the NBA, Kardashian stuff and more.

What do you think the best way to do it is?

Thinking of what I did in the past, which is:

1) Everyone posts once in a topic.

2) Only people with X number of posts are eligible. (Maybe 500+ posts?)

3) And then we pick a random number in that topic, and that post number wins. (It's easy enough to use a random number generator.)

Any other suggestions?

And in other news, the forum is going to upgrade to a new version in the near future. Still deciding on the exact version. All signs suggest that vbulletin 4 is actually better than 5. And yes, it would be responsive/mobile-friendly.
