Better athlete: Giannis vs Lebron

Honestly, I feel like Giannis might be the better athlete all things considered.

Giannis' skills at this point are definitely more raw than most of or maybe all of Lebron's career yet Giannis is impacting the game at an all-time level.

Just watching him, he is a freakin giant and just takes like 2 steps into the paint, turns, and dunks like it's nothing.

Idk if Giannis would even be in the NBA if he was under 6'4.

Prime: Lebron at 24 was faster, stronger, weighed more and slithered like a guard with power.

Now: Lebron is a freak. He can't sustain his athletic plays like Giannis but I still think if they did a foot race, bench press, end to end court stuff, Lebron would beat him.

In theyre physical primes lebron was definitely the better athlete. Stronger, faster, jumps higher ect. The reason why greek is so unique is because hes close to lebron in all those areas but hes also super long.

However I give Giannis a slight edge based on the fact that he has a fluidity and finesse to his game that Lebron lacks, and that boils down to co-ordination. Not to say Lebron is not co ordinated obviously but Giannis a special type of coordination which is only enhanced by the fact that he has several inches on Lebron. He eurosteps better than most guards.

Giannis' footwork is so good he can guard quick perimeter players. I saw the Bucks play the Clips and Giannis had Lou Williams out on the perimeter. Lou Williams couldn't do a damn thing against him and he had to pass it back out. I've never seen anything like it, his footwork is so quick and nimble.

Giannis' athleticism is crazy BECAUSE of his size...this dude seriously was garbage 4-5 years ago and has below average skills overall...yet he might have the most impact out of anybody right now (at least in the regular season).
