So reviews are coming in and the general consensus is it's another hit by Capcom. Only real issue seems to be the length of the campaign. First play through can be done in 4-6 hours.

Re: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
ugh 5 hour campaign is a deal breaker imo. RE2make was 8 hours and it felt a bit short
I get that it's a remake but technology has advanced so far in 20 years since the original, to warrant a $60 price tag I need minimum a good 10+ hrs for a day-1 purchase
multiple speed runs with the same NPC's/cutscenes don't cut that check
i'll wait for it to drop to $30-$40 in a couple months

ACG's reviews are usually spot on, I tend to lean with his opinions the most
But at the end of the day, games are all personal preference

Re: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Starting to look like this game originally could have been a DLC for RE2 rather than a full priced title, hence why it was released so quickly after RE2
Still has 8/10 reviews across the board. But yah a 6 hour single player is borderline DLC territory, Witcher 3 and Spiderman DLC's were longer. I bet RE3 drops in price quick

I'm disappointed to hear that Nemesis isn't used in the game like Mr X was in RE2. Missed opportunity.
I'll wait until it goes on sale too.

Ill hold off any opinions on that until I play, Mr. X at times became a nuisance solving puzzles and backtracking but still help ramp the difficulty. Not quite sure i'd want a want an even more OP Nemesis spawning everytime shots fired.
RE3 was always more action than survival compared to RE2, purisists of the original will be disappointed no matter what.
This will be a game that people feel ripped off at $60, yet become a "hidden gem" months down the road at $20-$30.

Re: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Bought it on sale and beat it in 10 hrs on the first playthrough, even checking every nook and cranny
Good game was cut far too short. 7.5/10
Not worth $30 imo, wait for it to hit $15-$20
