We are living in scary times.

Look at nuclear weapons. The ones with the power decide who can and can't have nuclear weapons. There's also no freedom of information regarding the tech. And nukes aren't the only tech which is under lock and key like this. And for some of this tech, even if you "discover" it yourself, those manning the locks will step in and disrupt you.
Sufficiently powerful tech results in a World where live and let live is no longer possible. It's an attack on liberty and individualism as a whole. And it's inevitable. We'll probably give in to authoritarianism. I've never heard a libertarian have an issue with how we already have centralized self serving entities dictate certain technologies. And any powerful tech can be weaponized.
Im pretty sure thats like one of the main things they have an issue with.
That said, it does appear inevitable regardless.
Anyhow if we dont have free speech and free exchange of ideas, it furthers the already extreme control wielded by people in power. The angsty, effeminate hiveminded retards protesting freedom of speech for twitter are the brainwashed sheep of the wealthy, but are too stupid and weak to realize it. Theyre the ones helping to fuel Financial Supremacy, which is what the boogieman narrative of white supremacy is being pushed by elites to distract from. They want minorities in a constant state of fear and voting Democrat for “protection” while their handpicked Dem candidates advance the cause of Financial Supremacy.
People protesting free speech are supporting Financial Supremacy for the 1%.

Yes the Twitter reactions are interesting. Musk went from a cultural icon to a villain in the eyes of the left in days. All because of increased transparency and charging for blue checkmarks? I like the charging idea because it can allow Twitter to move from an ad dependent model to a more direct user dependent one. Which to me as a layman seems healthier. Though I'm still not convinced his intentions are as pure as he claims. I think he's still going to censor it to how he sees fit(which is what everyone does) and there are already indications of that. But more transparency is always good. I'm curious why he's adopted this boisterous persona when he could have gone about this more subtly. Just wants to be a cultural lightning rod? Preemptively embracing the villain role?
Regarding Libertarians. Really? There's well known libertarians that are asking questions like why are nuclear secrets, secret? It may seem like I'm straw-manning Libertarians but the principle is that everyone has a line. I think most Libertarians realize it's not so black and white. Though we should certainly push in that direction and brave the consequences until we can't and there is a limit. But if people are going to become increasingly outraged, we won't be able to brave anything.
