Default Tom Brady - what's his next step?

What do y'all think will happen with Brady's FA decision and how his career plays out?

I see him signing with the Titans. It makes the most sense - Vrabel is his ex-teammate, he knows his defensive-minded philosophy, overall demeanor and probably loves him. Also, just like when Manning's arm was near shot, he was smart to go to team where he could lean on a great defense.

Titans have an elite running game with Henry, a huge advantage for Brady near retirement.

I also think he and his family fit Nashville pretty well, I say Brady signs with TEN and they are contenders but second round type contenders. If Henry goes down, they're a .500 team.

    What say y'all?

I can't see him leaving NE, frankly. He's almost 43 years old, he's in decline, why leave the team where you had all your success, and which doesn't have a good alternative? Brady needs NE, and NE needs Brady. He's familiar with the system, why at that age start over with another system, when you have so little time left? He's more likely to struggle under those conditions, and if he finally starts playing like his age, he will be an embarrassment for another team, while NE will never forget what he did for them, and will accept any kind of performance.

If he does go somewhere, I'd think SD would be the best fit, given that Rivers has left. I can see the attraction for Tenn, but why not give Tannehill a chance, after his performance last year? The problem with Tenn is that even if Brady starts, any poor performance will ramp up the pressure to put in Tannehill, and if the team struggles, there will be a lot of second guessing. Whereas there isn't much downside in SD, which has Tyrod Taylor, and might draft someone later. Indy might be a similar situation.

One thing any team does have to consider is that it's not worth trading or not resigning some QB who might have a good future just to accommodate Brady, who isn't going to play for than a year or two. You definitely don't mortgage the future for a questionable shot at the SB.

I'll just be...devastated if he goes to Tampa f*cking Bay. One of the greatest careers ever and the idea of him ending it all in that shithole with an irrelevant franchise is just nauseating.

If he goes to San Diego...I like that more but I'm confused as to San Diego's angle here. One aging QB for another at a higher price tag just seems weird. But its not my money so whatevs.

As for me, I've never been more interested in a Patriots season now that things are going to look so different around here.

Tampa Bay of all places. idk.

I mean.... I guess the Bucs will be like Jordan's Wizards.

They need to go after a good RB, maybe draft one, make sure the O-Line is solid.

Godwin & Evans is probably the best duo in the league, so could be interesting.

Witten is going to spend the first few years of his retirement in Vegas.

    Brady will retire in Florida.

Saints vs Bucs will be a good rivalry if Brees & Brady both play two more seasons.

Brady is about to be 2 years older than his offensive coordinator and has probably beaten one of his teams during Leftwich's playing career. It shouldn't be an issue but it's possible that if and when they disagree about a play Brady will be thinking he knows more about football than his coach, and he would most likely be right, On that note, he was only a year younger than McDaniels.

He wants to play. I can actually believe that he just want to play. Making money and winning are also factors of course, but he wants to play. So why not continue?

Nowhere near that but they'll win 10+ games. Brady will improve them simply by not throwing 30 bleeping interceptions. Jameis Winston is bizarre.
