Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency Discussion Thread
The Dallas Cowboys signed a former All-Pro defensive end on Wednesday night.
Dallas agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $4 million with Aldon Smith, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke on condition on anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the team’s plans.
Smith was drafted in the first round, seventh overall, in 2011. He played four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and one with the Oakland Raiders, amassing 47.5 sacks and 89 quarterback hits in five seasons. In his first NFL two seasons, Smith had 14 and then 19.5 sacks.
He hasn’t played since November 2015, when he was suspended by the league for violation of its policy on substances of abuse. His off-field issues have also included arrests on suspicion of domestic violence, a hit-and-run and DUI.

Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency Discussion Thread
I think we can all agree on this - the NFL should force the 9ers to sign kap and start him all year long... and if the 9ers are unwilling to make kap the centerpiece of the franchise, ownership of the team should be stripped from the york family and given directly to kapernick.
Also, Jerry Jones is obviously a racist (considering he hasnt posted the appropriate BLM hashtags on his instagram)... so I think we can all agree that ownership of the cowboys should be stripped away from him and given to a progressive champion of the people like Beto

The story begins in 1989.
Jerry Jones paid $140 million to buy the Cowboys from owner Bum Bright on Feb. 25, 1989, and immediately declared he was going to be involved in everything from socks to jocks. It was the first time a sports franchise had been purchased for more than $100 million.
