Not a huge fan of her music but Courtney Love's genealogy is fascinating. If I remember correctly her whole maternal line starting with her great grandmother was given up for adoption as a baby. Love wasn't given up for adoption but was emancipated as teenager. Despite this, her maternal direct line of descendants all became extremely successful and famous, although Love's mother was not as famous as Love, her grandmother and great grandmother, she was still a very accomplished author and therapist to some famous people. It's almost as if it's in her blood to become famous no matter the circumstances but to also want to abandon their offspring.

Courtney Love believes Marlon Brando is her real grandfather, and in all likelihood, he is.

I've never seen them live. My ex saw them quite a few times. I love pretty much everything from Turn on the Bright Lights, but like everything after that quite a bit less.

Love all those songs The drum intro on Untitled gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. A good percentage of the time, I would kick off my jogging playlist with it. Don't have as much time for that these days though.
