Exclamation 99% of people survive Covid-19, but survivors risk pulmonary fibrosis in their future

This virus is only really lethal to infants and older people, especially if they smoke or have existing lung disease and/or compromised respiratory systems.

But for all us young healthy people, is there really a risk other than being sick af for a few weeks?
Medical experts in taiwan who have studied the highest volume of Covid-19 cases, are saying yes.

So far, it's all google translate from asian media, based from taiwanese medical experts.

Taiwan arguably has one of the better medical services in the world, and probably the only country has this disease under control.

    https://www.ntdtv.com/b5/2020/03/09/a102795254.html

    Excerpts:

“After being diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia on January 19, a man in Hangzhou underwent isolation treatment. He was discharged from hospital on February 12 and continued to be sent to a centralized isolation point for 14 days. Although the man was out of danger, he still had serious lung injuries, which prevented him from squatting, he could not walk for a long time, or even jumped 1 cm high."

"Zhang Shangchun, convener of the Expert Advisory Group of the Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center and deputy principal of Taiwan University, said that after the first female Taiwanese businessperson in Taiwan was lifted from isolation, signs of pulmonary fibrosis were found in computer tomography."

"As long as there is inflammation in the lungs, no matter what causes it, such as viral pneumonia, bacterial pneumonia, and influenza, as long as it is severe enough, pulmonary fibrosis may occur later.

"This situation was not unexpected for that female Taiwanese businessperson," said Su Yifeng. "It's not that pneumonia caused by new coronaviruses will become fibrotic. This is very common during the recovery period after acute lung injury or respiratory failure . "

"Pulmonary fibrosis after this kind of pneumonia can be recovered. The degree of recovery depends on age. The younger you are, the more you can grow the original cells of the lung, and the higher the chance of recovering the original lung function.

He exemplified, "Patients in the 60s and 70s with pulmonary fibrosis may recover only 20-30% of their lung function; but at a younger age, patients in the 20s and 30s may recover more than 50%."

    Also of interest:

In 2015, researchers actually engineered a SARS/Corona virus that infects humans for "research." Check out the source paper too where they actually question their ethics:

    https://www.nature.com/news/engineer...TWT_NatureNews

This 2015 Paper is interesting because Covid-19 has 88% shared homology with SARS.

Avoiding Covid-19 & the resulting Pulmonary Fibrosis

    Preventative measures:

    500%+ daily vitamin C
    150%+ daily Zinc
    Multi Vitamin
    Hella hand washing
    Don’t touch your damn face!
    Hepa-95+ rated mask
    Latex Gloves
Lysol laundry sanitizer for any clothes contacting public surfaces

    —Prescriptions/Medical-treatments:—

Mesenchymal stem cells can repair damaged lung tissue, but are prohibitively expensive, not covered by insurance, and come with a moral aversion for some, so here are the rest:

    1. AVIGAN (when available) to decrease early proliferation of COVID-19

    2. Senolytics such as quercetin to help clear inflammatory senescent cells

    3. Pentoxifylline, a drug generally used to improve vascular health, which has antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory activity

    4. Antibodies against connective tissue growth factor to prevent fibrosis

    5. Leukotriene antagonists to decrease inflammation

    6. Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) pathway inhibitors to prevent recruitment of fibroblasts

    7. mTOR inhibitors such as rapamycin to decrease signaling in fibroblasts, as increased mTOR signaling may accelerate fibrosis

    8. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) to treat accompanying gastroesophageal reflux. PPIs have also been associated with slower IPF progression

    9. Metformin, an anti-diabetes drug, to decrease lung inflammation. A lot of your overweight/diabetic family/friends probably already take this.

    10. Glucagon-like peptide-1, a signaling protein that can inhibit inflammation in pulmonary fibrosis

    —Natural/OTC supplements:—

    11. N-acetylcysteine (NAC). (Available in pill form, but most prominent in chicken, turkey, yogurt, eggs, garlic). NAC has reduced oxidative stress and inflammation and prevented fibrosis in animal models of IFP. Genetic variations may play a part in the varying effectiveness of NAC to treat IPF in humans.

    12. Niacin and taurine. (Chicken & salmon) The combination of niacin (vitamin B3) & taurine has been shown in preclinical research to inhibit activities of pro-fibrotic inflammatory molecules.

    13. Omega-3 fatty acids (coldwater fish, borage). Studies have shown that omega-3 fatty acids protect against IPF-like conditions.

    14. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA). DHEA, an endogenous androgen hormone, decreases with age & appears to be significantly lower in those with IPF. DHEA inhibited fibroblast proliferation in lab settings.

    15. Vitamin D. Chronic vitamin D deficiency in lab animals has been shown to promote fibrosis in lung tissue. Supplementation with vitamin D decreased pulmonary fibrosis in mice.

    16. Also many Polyphenols. Certain plant compounds including curcumin (turmeric), quercetin (capers/juniper, apples, onions, green tea), resveratrol (dark red/purple/blue grapes&berries), epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), and citrus flavonoids have demonstrated the ability to reduce fibrosis in animal models of IPF.

    17. Phytochemicals. Other plant compounds including glycyrrhizic acid (licorice root) and ginsenoside Rg1 (ginseng) have shown promise in preventing or reversing pulmonary fibrosis in animal models of IPF.

...If anyone you know is showing symptoms (persistent dry cough, etc) of the pulmonary fibrosis which can result in anyone who contracts Covid-19, please share this comprehensive list,, so they can greatly reduce the chance of living the remainder of their life with compromised lung function.

God bless & be safe !

    But guess what ?

A French professor may have just cut Covid-19(15)’s duration waaaay short, so we won’t even have to worry about LONG 2-3week suffering causing pulmonary fibrosis or myocarditis....

    Enter....professor Didier Raoult

Myocarditis and Testicular damage jeopardizing reproductive capability are now amongst the complications that can result from this virus.

With a kill rate of only about 2%, it’s not terribly deadly to the young healthy individual with no pre-existing lung or heart conditions, but if your ability to reproduce is removed, it is deadly to your entire family line which will be removed from this earth forever.

    Stay safe y’all !
