Bucks Bulls Feb 16, 1989 (MJ CLUTCH)
Fourth quarter is crazy! What a gut punch. MJ with 27 in the 4th and the Bulls needed every one of them.

You think the NBA has some of these games in a vault somewhere? When did they start storing game tape? When did they start storing game tape from ALL games?
Most of these 90s games are uploads from random fan tapings.

Not only is there a vault they promised to sell a service to access it as early as 2003 but never did it. They supposedly had vaults full of old film to digitize. It’s easier to get it from individual channels through the AP archives. Costs about 250 bucks a game to digitize but they have more than you can imagine.

fair enough. we troll mj all the time. its mostly just 3ball to be fair. he's the only one insecure enough to be as irrational as he is.
lebron will have a ton of lowlights but he'll have a godly mix of game-winners. contrary to the haters beliefs he's been clutch as hell.

it is a fair point. lebron never had the finesse and grace/agility of mj. lebron is about power and accuracy. comes down the lane full speed throwing bullet passes. jordan meanwhile was as graceful as gets, agility and pure finesse.

I know Cummings was kicking himself after the game.

Lesser player no doubt.
Also no doubt that that Spurs team is more disciplined defensively though.
I mean you see a top 10ish GOAT, known for his sound defense, playing a big part in that second clip.
Plus Lebron was already being doubled before he could get a head of steam going. Jordan just had to shake one guy with that move and then he was off and running.

I watched a couple minutes of the 4th and basically all I saw was MJ getting phantom foul calls. Had to stop watching honestly.
MJ is the GOAT no doubt, but man it's hard to take people seriously who think basketball was better in the 80s and 90s than the last 15 years.

There's hardly any defense being played today.
Will say this though. Around 2000-ish, the center position may have not been what it was, BUT perimeter play and defense was @ an ALL TIME high. 2000-2016 had a pretty good balance.

I know this is an mj thread so sorry I'm just curious, how would you rank lebron kblaze? Top-5? I know you're a bulls fan and you seem unbiased.
I have lebron as the GOAT since 1999-2000 when I started watching. He's the best athlete overall that I've seen in any sport. The fact that's he's still this good at 35 is just a reminder. My family members in the late 90's were all bandwagon bulls fans just because of how big those games were, broadcast everywhere. Before the raptors everyone was either a bandwagon bulls, celtics, or lakers fan and then the raptors came and that was the shit. Still the shit. I'm a raptors fan first but I've also seen lebron's entire career from when he was in highschool to now and I've been catching his games since and I think he is the GOAT though he'll never catch mj's career. You gotta say he's at least top-5 at this point though right?

Which brings us to my question, numbskull. How come he becomes goat already when he was yet to play in the league?
