To me it's talking shit.

I hate people that talk shit about other people and in general. Especially because they're more than likely going to do it to everyone.

I hate know it alls too. It's fine to not comment on everything as if you know. But it's the people that feel the need to defend something or comment on something strongly when they aren't well versed on it just for the sake of conversation.
