    Spike Lee IMDB stats:

    1989 Do the Right Thing - 7.9
    1991 Jungle Fever - 6.5
    1992 Malcom X - 7.7
    1998 He Got Game - 6.9
    1999 Summer of Sam - 6.7
    2002 25th Hour - 7.6
    2006 Inside Man - 7.6
    2008 Miracle at St. Anna - 6.1
    2013 Oldboy - 5.7
    2018 Blackkklansman - 7.5

Has yet to crack the top 250.

Inside Man was his best movie (IMO), but haven't seen Klansman yet.

I'm surprised Cameron had anything to do with that, I think very highly of Cameron.

I remember that movie got tons of hype simply because 2000 New Years was coming...
Well, I stand corrected, had never watched the entire movie from start to finish but had seen most of the film sometime awhile back.

watched the movie last night... and you were right, it was crap.

It's a shame cause the first half of the film was decent... but then it just started getting worse and worse.

Tom Sizemore was a bad casting choice, and the actor that played "Philo" was terrible as well. Action / Fight scenes were god awful.

Definitely not worthy of a 7.2 IMDB rating.

Looking back though, what's interesting to me, that movie was made in 95 but took place just 5 years into the future, the year 2000. It's really crazy that society thought that in just 5 years we'd be that much more futuristic. Like it was accepted that in just 5 years there would be a black market for brain altering VR ...and we would be able to record people's memories and save the memories to a disk

Society in 95 was NOT tech savy at all...if we released a movie today that takes place in 2025 where that tech exists it would be laughed at.

Ready Player One takes place in 2045...imagine if that movie took place in 2025

Flight has a 7.3 rating... I disagree, should be in the top 250... should be 8.0 or better.

lol Seven is one of the most overrated movies ever. Pitt has grown into a competent actor these days, but he was ****ing awful int hat movie...especially at the end. It's impossibly to take the big reveal at the end seriously with his horrible acting. His acting just makes me bust up laughing at the end...it's one of those...it's so bad it's good moments. Just hilarious. You lose all my respect as any kind of movie connoisseur if think he was any good in that movie...and I like you, 1987lakers. Well we can't all get a hole in one every time now can we?

I'm just posting the IMDB ratings, they are not mine. I agree, I watched Seven and in no way does it deserve to be an 8.6, although I enjoyed it.
