LAPD officer in violent Boyle Heights beating video was involved in 3 prior shootings
Frank Hernandez, who has been with the LAPD for more than 20 years, was identified as the man under investigation for his actions during an April 27 arrest of a homeless man in Boyle Heights.
The Los Angeles police officer caught on video repeatedly punching a man during an arrest last week has been involved in three on-duty shootings during his career, including one that sparked violent protests in Westlake ten years ago.
The homeless guy is gonna get a nice settlement.

Watching the video again, the cop clearly doesn't know how to throw a punch... and they look like they're in slow motion.
Also, it's hilariously pathetic how he takes his glasses off and throws them to the ground and screams "come on!" when the guy isn't even facing him, still... pathetic. LOL.

So the cops were 100% to confront him and 100% to continue to try to run him off and as I kinda figured, he was running his mouth.
Although he clearly provoked them, that still does NOT justify the punching and out of control actions by the male cop. The cop should still be fired at a bare minimum.
