Default Why Cam Newton is still an unsigned free agent

What do you think of Cam Newton's place in the NFL these days? And why he hasn't been signed by a team yet?

I've got no sources but from the outside looking in it's because he wants to be a starter. He is coming off a major injury and hasn't lead a team to victory in something like 2 years. Running quarterback doesn't age well. He might be able to get it done as a thrower but first will have to impress a team with a good workout which can't happen due to covid restrictions. He may have to wait for someone to get hurt to get a chance to start but at the least needs covid restrictions to end so that he can show a team what he can do.

Teams just don't want to risk on a player that has bit amount of recent injuries.

He's always been a below average pocket passer, he's no where near as a threat to run as someone like Lamar Jackson and it doesn't help that his body is breaking down.
