Didn't watch it, but that asshat forced Jerry into retirement.

Re: Jerry Sloan passes away
My understanding is in the last few years his condition was so bad he didn't even remember that he was a coach. Really sad.
If there is a basketball hoop somewhere beyond all this, hopefully he's up there running with Wilt, Kobe, and co. repping the Bulls and Jazz.

There ain't.
But he had an amazing life and should be honored in basketball circles.

Sloan also used to be a great bull. He's one of those original ones who went to the expansion team back in the 60s.

In the Michael Jordan documentary he was one of my favorite parts. That is sad that he passed away.

Re: Jerry Sloan passes away
Him dragging the Arroyo, Kirilenko Jazz to 42 wins despite losing Stockton and Malone is the best coaching job i have ever seen. Looking back at the standings they missed the playoffs by a game but would have been at 4th place in the Leastern Conference

Trolling about the recently deceased is never a good look. Some of us would do well to remember that.
RIP to Jerry Sloan. He had quite a career in basketball.

Lmfao...the irony. You have 10k post and not a single one of them are worth two shits, but you’re gonna go on about “childness”...what a ****ing joke.

I remember his HOF speech - really inspiring - along with Stockton's and DRob's (MJ's not so - although I am enjoying watching The Last Dance).

This man was a legend. Six-time all defensive player. 6’5 white guy, in an athletic black league, averaged seven rebounds per game for his career. HOF coach and player. Was **** blocked two rings by the GOAT. And his own original franchise.
He deserves a small statue or bust in the United Center, at least next to Scottie Pippen’s ugly bust.
2020 can kiss my ass.
Sorry for your loss. 2020 has been a rough year..
RIP Coach Sloan. He always gave my Lakers hell every time we rolled up in Utah for a game. Sloan's teams played hard, disciplined basketball, and I will never forget that. He was a great coach who just couldn't get over that hump for a chip.
