But go back to 1995 and research that series versus Orlando again. What position was killing Chicago?
Power Forward.
Orlando had Chicago's PF. That's why Chicago lost.
And Jordan would've lost again in 1996 if he didn't have Rodman, fire lit or not.
So it doesn't matter how mad or hungry Jordan was, he wasn't advancing without a good PF.
This is true. Same thing with LeBron when he had crappy power forwards in Cleveland. He then got one of the best PF’s and won. Now he is the GOAT.

Jordan himself said "We are a Horace Grant away (from winning)" after losing that series.
Credit to Krause for addressing their biggest need. Look at the other contenders from that time. What did Orlando do after losing the finals? The Knicks after losing in 93' and 94'? Utah after losing? The other GM's largely stood pat while Krause made an aggressive move to bring in a third HOF player.

This, and Penny Hardaway is on record as saying he wasn't the same Jordan, he was rusty.
