Wrong.
I'm going to "boss up" on you and pull out the stats.

This topic is not black and white (no pun intended) ...it is very complex and grey all over
obviously racist cops exist...how prevalent is impossible to know
and yeah, blacks commit more crimes on average, and that in itself is a super complex topic

I'm not sure I agree with those "stats."

Truthfully, this is easy to answer. Back in the 50's and 60's, cops would take water hoses to Blacks to get them off the street. They'd get beaten and arrested if they sat or gathered in White-only areas.
We have a Black dying at the hands of a cop unjustly at least once a year (if that), and all of a sudden we are the most racist nation on Earth and cops are singling out Blacks for no reason. It's laughable.

There's no agreeing or disagreeing with those stats. You either admit that the numbers are real or not. If you think the latter, do you have other stats that don't come from the Department of Justice or the FBI?

Imagine the battle they're having within trying to process actual facts versus what they read on Twitter from the SJW Nazi's.

Stats are just numbers.
What exactly do they mean?
That's what's important.

It's no secrete police harass black people more than they do others. even if you want to argue that blacks commit more crimes so they should be targeted more often, you can't ignore that plenty of white people were smoking weed before it was legalized across many states and they hardly ever got harassed or thrown in jail...yet TONS of black people got harassed and thrown in prison for weed charges.
from PBS:
But even if there aren’t hard statistics, the problem of racial bias among police isn’t new. In fact, it’s been a concern of the FBI for at least a decade. Exactly 10 years ago this week, the FBI warned of the potential consequences — including bias — of white supremacist groups infiltrating local and state law enforcement, indicating it was a significant threat to national security.
so yeah, black people aren't getting hosed down in the streets, but that hardly means there are no issues.

I'm responding to a poster that says that blacks self report more police brutality against them.
Those stats show that black men are disproportionately involved in crimes and specifically violent crimes. Therefore the use of force against them is more likely to occur; same with increased policing of their neighborhoods and profiling.

Whites commit less crime, therefore their neighborhoods aren't policed like black neighborhoods. They also don't smoke weed in their front yard for cops to catch them in the act.
