Good/Great players in history you wanted to see on a Championship contender?
Chris Mullin was Larry Bird lite. Goat level shooter with the all around skills to match. Average athlete but was a hardworker and overachiever who outhustled better athletes to the ball. Smart and crafty player that knew how to play the right way.
Wish he played for his hometown team, him and a healthy Ewing would have probably been enough to win a ring.

Dominique Wilkins. Never got a shot on a good team. The other people being mentioned got that shot eventually but Nique' never really did. The one qualification is he was on Atlanta when they were tied for 1st at the break with Chicago in 94'--but that did him no good because they traded him for Danny Manning so he wasn't on the Hawks for the playoffs.

Chris Mullin wasn’t lite anything.
He averaged 25ppg more times than Bird and as many times as McGrady, D.Wade, Dirk and Chuck.
They didn’t put him on the Dream Team for his looks.

It was just a description on how he played the game, no need to get offended.

Another player I would love to have seen on a contender is Grant Hill, a Jordan/Pippen hybrid player that was as skilled as anyone at his peak. Maybe he could have teamed up with Mourning and make a deep playoff run before injuries robbed him of his prime.

Damian lillard. Good chance it never happens. He’s played with one very good core and that was during his first few years in the league with lma, Matthews etc.
