Why only 31.6% usage for lebron in 18' Finals? (only used 31.6% of possessions)
Why not use 36% of possessions (4 more possessions) and win games 1 and 3, possibly more?
MJ's toughest Finals required 36% usage or higher - only he won at this burden level, and that's what lebron needed to win in 18' and other years

So LeBron got 35/10/8 with only a 31% usage?
Jordan needed a 36% usage for 27/6/4 in 1996?
Damn.

Damn.
31% of possessions wasn't enough
Why not 38% of possessions and 41 ppg like MJ in 93'?
And lebron only averaged a few more points than his sidekick and 30% of team points, versus 20 more than Pippen and 38% of team points for MJ

Why do you post rebounds and assists when those things take away from his ability to control the game the most effective way (scoring)?
Possession usage via scoring attempts is what matters, not rebounding.. and lebron didn't add to the scoreboard on enough possessions

Why did Jordan win with 27/6/4 on 41% in 1996
Why was 4/2 enough in ‘98?

Because bulls scored more than jazz and half the scoring was MJ when it mattered.. when did lebron score over 50% of total team points in a closeout.. if he did that, he could be goat and win with 4/2... Btw, rodman didn't start these playoffs and averaged 4/8 in Finals.. don't overrate rebounds over timely scoring

Imagine taking more shots to score less points.
Bron wins again. Less FGA and more points scored. G.O.A.T level stuff.

How many more free throws did lebron need than MJ... And turnovers... And games
Also:
points per 100 + assists per 100
divided by
100
=
points and assists per possession, aka biggest producer of points and assists

We saw what happened in 2015 when LeBron’s usage rose to those high levels. He struggled offensively when doing that. He knows high usage isn’t his strong point so he kept it down.

His game doesn't translate well to teammates.

You missed the point. Since LeBron is so efficient as you pointed out, a higher usage rate equates to more shots and more points and maybe more wins. Instead of scoring 51 in Game 1 of the 2017 Finals, scoring 52 wins that game.
That's the point.

Exactly... If a guy is losing while getting 35 ppg on only 31% usage, then he should be shooting more and using more possessions
36% usage would've allowed him to.use 4 more possessions and average closer to 40... But only MJ has won while using that many possessions (36%)... 95' Hakeem is closest with 35.9%
