With PS5 being backward compatible imma swoop on it quick just to get better performance on my backlogged ps4 titles

Usually i'm in the same boat as this, we all know the true potential of next gen shines around the 12-24 month mark after release.

I've been biting my tongue on snagging a Pro the past 2 years and decided back whe to just wait out on a Day 1 ps5 instead

Loved RE7 first person, way more immersive and spook factor imo. Initially meh'd at the biohazard idea but they killed it, no doubt they're gonna nail the werewolf/vampire or w/e it is in RE8

But dem Sony's exclusives are no joke bangers shit we got TLOU2 and Ghost dropping this month. Naughty Dog, Santa Monica St., Guerilla, Media Molecule, Insomniac, Sucker Punch. Sony damn near absolved and 1st partied 90% of AAA heavy hitters.

Never been into console wars but no denying the game library heavily favs PS, especially 18+ third person/single players.

Looks are an opinion. I respect that. The specs are better no doubt, but that doesn't always translate into better performance. As we saw with the last gen...that didn't matter. What will matter in the end as long as the performance from both consoles are satisfactory is the exclusive titles the platforms get. Which is why it's estimated that PS4 since the 2013 release has solid roughly double of the the Xbox One has solid.

Hell, even the Nintendo Switch has sold more than the Xbox has as of today since it's release.

There's a guy on YouTube that I watch called TronicsFix. Basically all he does is fix mostly game consoles. He just bought a pallet of PS4s that were "salvaged". So he assumed they were all broken. It ended up being 22 PS4s (15 originals, 3 Pros, 4 Slims) for roughly $2200. He was able to get 21 of them fully working and the 22nd one can be fixed, but he has to order a new APU for it.

Yea, it's years down the pipeline. There's been rumors Rockstar is working on a Red Dead Redemption 1 remake. Not a remaster. Taking the current engine, putting the story of Red Dead Redemption 1 in it, and expanding on RDR2's gameplay. I think it's a pipe-dream. Maybe it's just Rockstar working on GTA5 improvements for next gen.

Better to just work on a new game like rdr3 than remake something
