Shit tell that to Capcom, they nearly doubled up RE2 remake sales in comparison to the 98 original, nostalgia fluffing gets heavily praised in the gaming industry

While I agree new IP's are better than milking the old cow, there's no doubt Rockstar doesn't have multiple teams in separate headquarters already mapping out projects for their 2027 cash cow

100% GTA VI has already been in development for at least 5 years now, it took SEVEN years to make GTAV. The upcoming Cyberpunk has been in development since 2012

Yea, it's years down the pipeline. There's been rumors Rockstar is working on a Red Dead Redemption 1 remake. Not a remaster. Taking the current engine, putting the story of Red Dead Redemption 1 in it, and expanding on RDR2's gameplay. I think it's a pipe-dream. Maybe it's just Rockstar working on GTA5 improvements for next gen.

That RDR rumour had no credibility in the slightest. A random post on 4chan with no substance whatsoever. Rockstar was never going to announce a new game here. Like the always well informed scuzzy mentioned, Rockstar takes years to develop their games. With the next gen consoles on the horizon, I can imagine them going all out for GTA VI with the biggest game in history. I, and this is just an assumption, wouldn't bank on an announcement until late 2021 or 2022. They already took the PS3 to its absolute limits and beyond, I can only imagine what that would give on a PS5.

GTA VI is definitely in production, that much is certain given some minor leaks like the hiring of certain specialists, but that doesn't mean anything, given Rockstar has multiple development teams and offices. They started developing RDR2 right after or even before the release of RDR1, and that took 8 years as well.

GTA games are incredible. The details, story lines (minor and major) are off the charts. It's the online has ruined a lot and gets too much focus unfortunately. It's become a cash cow and Rockstar don't care in any way, shape or form that they've become money oriented. GTA IV was a great game, and then you'd get basically another game with the BoGT and LaD DLC. Michael, Trevor and Franklin haven't done shit since 2013.

i don't understand, why is there two versions? is one a digital only and has no disk drive that's cheaper?

The real question is, does the desk drive option have the ability to download digital as well. If so, that's a no brainer. I can see why the disk version will be more expensive but the best bang for the buck. Having the ability to purchase used games is a luxury now.

3/4's of all my PS4 games are digital because I bought them dirt cheap on sale


Hoping there's some way I can just play the ones on discs as digital if you have the license stored on your PS/XB acct
