Director of Lost Boys, Elmo's Fire, Flatliners, Phantom of the opera, and Batman Forever. Died of Cancer at aged 80.

Lost Boys was a great movie. Batman Forever was a letdown after Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Haven't seen any of those other movies but Flatliners looks good.

All his movies were crap with the exception of Tigerland and Phone Booth.
I will never forgive him for the abortion he did on Batman.

Yes, he destroyed the batman films. He said warner brothers forced him to make a kid friendly batman.

Did we really need Bat nipples though lol? The body fetishism displayed in some of the suit-up scenes dont scream 'kid friendly' either.
