Its crazy that all of the spurs rings are with duncan, miami’s are with wade and the bulls’ are with jordan. The only two rockets rings are with hakeem.

They won the title in 2000 as part of a season that started in 1999. So technically a laker champion team was active in the 90s. It’s a stretch but that’s what I meant to convey when I said ‘calendar decade’. Also Staples opened in 99, official consecrating that three peat dynasty in 1999

The Lakers are definitely a better franchise.

Boston is only that high on the list because they happened to draft 1 particular guy... Bill Russell.

They'd be really good compared to the rest of the league but not in this conversation of top franchise... without said 1 guy.

The Lakers you can take away any 1 guy and they still have a ton of rings. Not true of the Celtics. The Celtics haven't been truly relevant for 30+ years/since Larry Bird. Yeah, they had a couple of goes at the title with Garnett but that was short lived.
