Thumbs up Patrick Mahomes the 500 million dollar man

Insane. But worth every penny though. He’s arguably the most skilled out of anyone we have ever seen. He has grasped the nuances of the NFL game faster than pretty much anyone ever. He’s been raised in a culture of professional sports and he’s super level headed because of it. He’s not in over his head. He checks every box of what you want. You cant do any better than Mahomes. He’s 10/10. Super young with no question marks. The sky is the limit.

Is he worth more than Mike Trout (12/$426)? Yeah, I know, the Angels with Trout haven't even won a postseason game, let alone a WS, but it turns out NFL teams don't make much, if anything, in the postseason. The average NFL team brings in less annual revenue than the average MLB team, and requires far more players.

By WAR, Trout produces about 30% of what an average team produces, and more than 20% of a likely playoff team. How much is Mahomes worth to his team? He only plays offense, which is maybe 45% of the success. He's one of eleven players on offense, granted, far and away the most important one. So maybe 15-20%?

You seriously just try to claim Mahomes is only 15% responsible for the Chiefs success

    Let’s put it this way

Would you rather have Mahomes contract or pay Dak 35 million a year for 4 years?

I'm not hating on the deal... seems like a good move for KC.

but personally I don't want to pay Dak $35+ for a long list of reasons.

but it's in the name of equality.

The government can spend the money better than Patrick can. The government is far Superior.

what the f*ck is Patrick going to do with an extra $200 million? Produce Jobs? That's ridiculous.

We need to tax Patrick at 80%, keep $400 million, and go fight the changes in the climate together, also need to give crack head killer joe on the corner the medical treatment he deserves.

Patrick will still have $100 million to build a small corporate business with... and whatever money he makes off that... we tax him again at 80%. Plenty of motivation for him to start building that corporate empire immediately... The more taxes he pays, the more government services he can provide. Who wouldn't be motivated to start a business knowing government hill help you spend the fruits of your labor?

And once the government has all the power... oppression will finally be eliminated.

    makes sense right?
