Anyone here planted a Corn?

I inherited a farm from my grandfather. It's a huge land. Water melons, Avocado, Tamarind, and guyabano are already in my farm. Planning to plant a corn in the other part of the farm.

I have, but not in a big farm, just a garden. Corn is a real nitrogen hog. The first year I planted, I got tall, healthy plants. The second year they were much shorter, and after that I had to put a lot of fertilizer in the soil to get more production. I also had problems with earworms.

Tamarind, now that's something I'd love to grow.
