Who are some great role models for Black America today?

It's hard to top Thomas Sowell, but he's at the top of my list. Nobody under 30 has probably heard of him, but Sowell is widely known and is a great human being. The man is 90 years old and is a national treasure and one of the smartest human beings alive. Black America would be best served following in his footsteps.




Shelby Steele is another great African-American who is beyond wise and is a great role model for Black youth.

They are definitely influential, but they are not role models. Influential in the sense that they perpetuate the destruction of the Black nuclear family, and influential in the sense that their main objective to get what they want out of life is to become a victim.


A role model is someone who doesn't use excuses to deter them from becoming successful, educated, etc.
