How can the economy be as good as a few years ago during a global pandemic? It's horrible all over the world and only the billionaires are benefitting from it.

Good thing Trump lowered the taxes for them so they don't suffer too much for the billions though

The international community is in full agreement that China botched the handling of SARS. So it's of no surprise that they would want to go over the top with Covid and then tell everybody about the lengths to which they're going(after they couldn't downplay it anymore that is). This isn't particularly nefarious besides the usual political PR China has been doing increasingly in the last decade like their Belt and Road stuff. They've gone from not caring what the World has to say about them and focusing on building their economy to caring what the World has to say and focusing on building their public image and influence.

The bots did a lot more than praise China, instead they directly attacked various leaders who didn't want to impose a shutdown.
