Kobe had 23 points on 24 shots iirc. He was also playing against an all time great defense. Kawhi was playing the Nikola Jokic Nuggets

That’s nowhere near as bad as 14 points on 22 shots

All time bad choke for Kawhi

What makes it even more disappointing is that he did this in an elimination game. And playoff p at the same time never stepped up at all. This should have been a wake-up call for them after the third quarter but it seems they've only treated it as if it was just a mere regular season game.

LeBron had 2011, KD had 2016, Curry had 2016

The differences is Kawhi's team was setup for failure due to George/Lou not adapting to the bubble and incompetent coaching.

I'm taking a long vacation. I just wanted to post for the following day fallout. The bubble is a ****ing asterisk anyway.

"You choked in front of no fans"

Who did they choke in front of? The damn clock looking at them.

Cool story but Denver already won and your posting privileges are gone. Take a hike, pal.

    1. This is arguably more embarrassing than any of those.
    2. You told us Kawhi was better than all of those players. Hell, you told us he was better than peak MJ imagine MJ losing in this situation and putting up a 6-22 stinker (1-11 in the second half!)

Paul George and Lou Williams attitude towards the bubble. They both admitted they were depressed. Kawhi was set up for failure. I don't see how that's really embarrassing. We have to see how the Lakers play the nuggets as well. If nuggets take Lakers to 6 or 7, this loss for Kawhi is not bad at all. Kawhi has nobody close to Anthony Davis on his team, George in the bubble is closer to Kuzma.
